Benefits of Travel Insurance you need to know

Travel insurance is one type of insurance that provides protection while we travel both domestically and abroad. So you can still travel in peace. Especially in an uncertain situation like today. What if when you bought tickets in advance but you got sick, or even worse, the trip had to be canceled for one reason or another at the destination.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

In general, each car has a unique vehicle identification number or NIK. This number consists of 17 characters, combines letters and numbers and is considered the birth certificate of the car. In fact, it is an international code created to facilitate car identification. NIK is also known as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). NIK stores a lot of information such as car history records, car variations and models, where they were made, specifications, and much more. This number can be found on different parts of the car such as the driver's door, chassis, hood, dashboard and under the front passenger seat depending on the type of car you have.

Driving with smartphone is dangerous!

Playing a smartphone or cellphone can be a problem because it can cause accidents. Someone who drives while playing a smartphone is very possible to lose focus on driving, so they cannot pay close attention to their surroundings. Believe it or not, traffic accidents are also dominated by motorists who lose concentration while driving. In order to minimize the occurrence of accidents due to this, a law was made to make anyone driving more concentrated, disciplined and careful. This is stated in Article 106 paragraph (1) of Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, which reads, "Everyone who drives a motorized vehicle on the road must drive his vehicle fairly and with full concentration."

Then, the sanctions received for violating these rules have also been stated in article 283, Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, motorists may be subject to a maximum imprisonment of 3 (three) months or a maximum fine of Rp. 750,000.00 (seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiah).

World Environment Day 2022

June 5 marks World Environment Day—led by the United Nations Environment Programme, a time to raise awareness on the importance of protecting and restoring the Earth.Sahabat Insurance planted mangroves as an implementation of a sustainable finance program in an effort to mitigate climate change disaster risk through the expansion of mangrove forests at Eco Park - Mangrove Tourism Park, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.

A total of 2250 mangroves will be planted at this event as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) carried out by the company towards the community and the environment in all aspects of the company's operations, such as issues affecting the environment.
