In general, each car has a unique vehicle identification number or NIK. This number consists of 17 characters, combines letters and numbers and is considered the birth certificate of the car. In fact, it is an international code created to facilitate car identification. NIK is also known as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). NIK stores a lot of information such as car history records, car variations and models, where they were made, specifications, and much more. This number can be found on different parts of the car such as the driver's door, chassis, hood, dashboard and under the front passenger seat depending on the type of car you have.

Sahabat Insurance Donates to Flood and Landslide Victims in Aceh and Sumatra

Medan, December 15, 2025 — Sahabat Insurance has distributed humanitarian financial assistance to communities affected by floods and landslides in Aceh Province, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The aid was channeled through YAKOPI (Indonesian Coastal Conservation Foundation), a Medan-based humanitarian organization.
The handover of the humanitarian aid was carried out directly by Elly, Head of Sahabat Insurance Medan Branch, on Monday (December 15, 2025) at the YAKOPI Office in Medan, North Sumatra.

This humanitarian initiative forms part of Sahabat Insurance’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and reflects the collective concern of Sahabat Insurance employees who seek to support communities affected by natural disasters across Indonesia.
The floods and landslides that struck several areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra have caused extensive damage to residential homes and public infrastructure, while also disrupting the social and economic activities of local communities.
