Pefindo assigned a rating of “idBBB” to PT Asuransi Sahabat Artha Pr

JAKARTA – PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) assigned a rating of “idBBB” to PT Asuransi Sahabat Artha Proteksi (Sahabat Insurance). The outlook for the corporate rating is “stable”.

Through its official statement, Pefindo explained that the rating reflects an above average capitalization profile, adequate liquidity, and moderate asset quality. However, the ratings are constrained by its moderate operating performance, concentrated business profile, and intense competition in the general insurance industry.

Sahabat Insurance received The Most Promising General Insurance Award

PT Asuransi Sahabat Artha Proteksi (Sahabat Insurance) received The Most Promising General Insurance Award based on Financial Performance 2022–2024 in the category of General Insurance with Equity of IDR 250 Billion – IDR 500 Billion at The Finance Award 2025.
The performance assessment was conducted for banks, life insurance companies, general insurance companies, multifinance, and reinsurance institutions that successfully maintained stable and positive growth over three consecutive financial periods.
Sahabat Insurance was recognized in The Finance 2025 as a General Insurance Company with Equity of IDR 250 Billion to < IDR 500 Billion, earning the “Excellent” rating with a total score of 87.67, according to The Finance.
The award ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
